gytr bar kit install questions

so i got the gytr bar kit for my ttr
and im in the middle of installing it, im stuck at the throttle cable installation.
im puzzled on how it goes together, i think i have it figured out, but when i screw the cap down to secure it, the throttle cable has no play. it just gets stuck and wont move. can someone please help me, perhaps maybe a description or pictures of how it all pieces together?
thanks!

are you sure you have the slide thingy in the right way? if you spin it 180 degrees should work properly

yeah the slide has to be COMPLETELY in the carb. theres 2 notches and it probably got hooked on the 1st one. So just spin the slide until it falls down all the way.

Re: gytr bar kit install questions

its down all the way, theres 2 notches one is for the throttle cable to hook into and it goes all the way up, and then theres the larger notch on the other side but its only like half way up, that is the correct side. and it goes all the way in, and i can screw the cap on, but as soon as i screw it down, the throttle has no play. its stuck in the closed position.

you will be able to screw the cap on anyway, and it will go half way down even if it is in the wrong way, take the filter off and look at it on the inside, and the slide should be a few mm away from touching the bottom.

and if the cable is making any tight curves it could be giving it less play
