Sell it and get a crf50. Just kiddin... but if they are like a xr/crf50 then on the right side there should be a clutch adjust bolt. If there is let me know?

Remove the two screws from the cover that has Yamaha on it on the right side. Remove the cover and loosen the 14mm nut, turn the slotted screw in the center of the 14mm nut counter clockwise until you start to feel some resistance and stop. Now turn the screw clockwise 1/8 turn. Tighten up the 14mm nut while holding the slotted screw from turning. Put the cover with the two screws back on and your done.

I've tried adjusting the screw 1/8th turn and 1/4 turn was a little better but 7 yr old still not able to shift it well so I took the shifter off, cut it, and added a 1" to it and welded it back up giving it more leverage being longer and that helped also.

I was going to say that a longer lever would help to. Check this one out. ![]() Two Brothers Racing, add an item to your shopping cart: |

I put the longer shaft off my 110 pit bike the other day an readjusted the clutch an my sons 50 now shifts so smooth a Honda would be jealous. Just some small advise ditch the 1/8 turn rule an just back it off till it feels good. I think I have his set at like 3/4 or a full turn out. |
