| How many jet sizes up?
Ok well im nearing the finish of my mods to the ttr. I have the BBR big bore pipe on it and the gytr filter on it. The stock size is a 60, i was thinking 3 sizes up. I figure 1-2 for the filter and 1 for the exhaust or vice-versa. Anyones opinions will help....Thanks!

I got the gytr jet kit for my ttr with the gytr exhaust that I have. It comes with jets and a adjustable needle. The stock needle has no adjustment. I went with the 72.5 main and I think the 3rd clip down from the top on the needle. I left the pilot alone.

i dont have the jet kit. The bike has the 60 in it right now with all of that. It kind of studders and will die if the gas is hit......it idles and sounds beastly. Maybe only a size or two. Im waiting on the spark plug to cool down...

Ya mine wouldn't run unless I pulled the choke until I rejetted it. It made a huge difference. If you don't rejet it then it is gonna be running way lean. I got the jet kit off of ebay for 30 bucks with shipping or you could go to the dealer and pick up some jets.

You're not gonna notice any difference until you rejet. It is starving for fuel right now. Also I don't know how well that big bore pipe is gonna work since your running a standard bore still. Let me know. I always wondered if there was much of a difference.

Well my cousin has the standard bore pipe, there isnt really a difference. They sound the same right now. But like you said. Once i rejet the differences will come out.

What made you change from a crf to a ttr. There are so many more aftermarket parts for the honda that it almost makes me wanna get one instead. But I like my ttr, my cousin has one with pipe and filter and some porting and mine is faster.

Oh that's cool. Which one do you like better? Or let me know after you get the ttr all dialed in. I picked up my ttr for 500 bucks. All it needed was a new battery. If I could get a crf for that cheap I might get one to and have both.

i paid 400 for my ttr. But i just ordered the jet kit. So ill be riding it as is for a little while...the crf is for bottom end and has way more aftermarket. Stock, the ttr will whoop the crfs ass and has an electric start. And no the electric start does not weigh much at all.
