Installing different handlebars

I just picked up a 06 ttr50 for 500 bucks. It's in great shape and only needed a couple little things. I bought new grips for it not knowing that the bars are only 3/4" diameter. I'm gonna buy some new bars but need to know if I need to buy a clamp to install them. The stock ones are welded on the clamp. Just trying to figure out the best and cheapest way to install these.

the best way is just to get a kit you will need bars clamp and all of the extensions for the electronics and cables (this is if you want to upgrade to big bars)

Re: Installing different handlebars

Do I have to get different cables if I go with bars that have the mini bend. The bike is for my daugthers so I don't want to go to tall with the bars. I'm new to the minis so don't mind my dumb questions.

Re: Installing different handlebars

ya know, I was thinking about putting big bars back on my sons TTR50. When I got it, it had the GYTR adult bar kit (new tripple clamp, big bars, throttle cables etc). Well I have since put his bike back to stock and I used the adult bars on my daughters bike however, I have a new set of Applied bg bars which are slightly large than the stock TTR bars. They have a 6" rise and are 25" wide and I still have the GYTR tripple clamp to use these bars. I was thinking about using this on my sons bike but am willing to sell thye stuff if your offer is good enuff and if you are interested
