Tall Seat

Which one do you guys like best for the TTR and do the make much difference?

BBR, TBR, GYT-R, other?

Not sure about a ttr but I use only BBR tall seats on all my bikes, yes a tall seat makes a pretty nice difference it opens up the geometry slightly and it makes it so you have more cushion and you wont bottom the foam and hit the seat base anymore. Plus they improve the looks of the bike in my opinion.

They all look nice but I wonder if there is a difference in the foam density between the three I mentioned.

I have the gytr tall seat and love it. The added leg room I have with it is great.

I know that I have seen different foam densities mentioned before with tall seats.

I got the GYTR one and like it alot, stiffer than most, which is nice, because when a seat is too soft, I get monkey butt!

I dont know the density of the others but the BBR is the most comfortable seat I have come across. BBR does know what they are doing they test and use the best density foam I am sure BBR stuff is always great.

If the Two bros is anything like the two bros seat I have for my 110 it blows.A brick is softer.I really like my GYTR seat.It reminds me alot of my 04 yz250f seat foam when I had that bike.

That settles it. I think I'll get the GYT-R seat since I seem to be staying with that theme for everything else.

I'm itching to pull the trigger on the GYT-R big bore kit but that's a pretty good chunk of change.

I got all of my GYTR stuff at the dealer. The only reason i ever get something myself is if the dealer cant get me the part for the cheapest price which they usally hook up

Make friends with the dealers! After a while you get a nice price break

True, true. dont expect to get a discount at a dealership the first time you walk in the door. Make friends, become a loyal customer and the perks will come.

For the guys with the GYT-R tall seat, did you buy the foam and cover kit or the complete seat?

I've been tracking one on ebay thinking it was the complete seat but now I'm pretty sure it is just the cover and foam. That sucks. I don't want to tear up my stock seat in case I want to put it back on some day.

Yep, it was just the cover and the foam. That sucks. I'm glad I didn't bid on it. I would have been pissed if I had won it and didn't realize it wasn't the complete seat until it arrived at my door.

Well, let us know how it turns out! Either way, you will love the extra little bit of let room, makes it surprisingly more comfortable.

I'll be sure to give a full review as soon as I get enough "seat" time.
