I just picked up my 6 year old daughter a 06 ttr 50 and it is in good shape. It is a surprise and all i need for it is a front fender. The one i have is broken. I will buy new,used,oem,aftermarket whole set of plastics or just the fender! Please help a dad out. I am new to this site so if I am posting in the wrong area please let me know. I am a member of Motosouth.com and that is where I found out about this site. Any help or advice would be GREATLY apppriciated!

Right now it is basicaly impossible to find plastic for the 50's. The led law ban has had them all removed. I am currently looking to find a full set just to have incase we need a shroud or something.

The ban is up for vote today and it look as if the ban or youth motorcycles and ATV will be lifted. The CPSC is in fear the the ban would lead to younger rides being forced the go to larger bike to early and that the current bikes would not be safe do to not having good parts.

My dealer has a locator service that he can fins about any part that a dealer has on their shelf across the country. You might check with your dealer about this service an get the name of a dealer that has one an call them.

As of right now a dealer can not sell any in stock part. That should change very soon.

Like my parts manager told me if a dealer has the part odds are they will sale it it's not the goverment is gonna go around to dealers checking stock on parts

Yeah been there done that? Can' find a dealer that would take a chance on it. They said they would face some pretty tuff fines if they did it. I have heard that if you know someone overseas that they can still purchase parts and then they can personally ship em to you third party. I just don't know anyone overthere. Maybe this can help some of you guys.

there is a set of forks and front fender on ebay but $100 you could message seller and ask if thay will sell just the fender

Guess your already taken care of but for anyone else there is a guy in Ebay selling a CRF50 conversion kit with number plate and fender thats a direct bolt on for around 40 bucks.

I got one of his kits. I bid $25 and won it. It's a pretty cool set-up.No drilling,and it looks better than stock.
