| TTR 50 Throttle Limit Screw
Just bought an 06 TTR 50 for my son. The guy that I bought it from had removed the Throttle limit screw completely. Does anyone know what size screw this is? I am trying to avoid taking off the assembly and spending an hour at Home Depot fit checking screws. Thanks, |

your first problem is going to home depot. go to a local/homegrown hardware store and ask for some help.

Remove the throttle and take it with you. You will need the screw and the jamb nut if its like a CRF. Will be very simple. Its all metric. |

It looks like about a 5/40mm (could be a 4/40mm) it has a single lock nut at the base. It also sticks out really far (about 30mm) when not being used. I gave my son (7) 2/3 throttle on his first day and then full throttle after that. The bike only makes 2.8hp and after 6 days riding, Zack now treats the throttle like a light switch... which makes Christmas shopping for him easy? He's getting More Power!!!
