| TTR 50 wont start
I have a 2007 ttr50 It will not start with the electric start, but I can push start it. It turns over good but will not fire. Does anyone have a solution Thanks Vick

that happened to my friend with is 225. we tried charging his battery but it wouldnt charge or turn of ever with the electrical start. i think its the batteries

Ok I charged the battery with a trickle charger still cranks over good, but doest start. I took out the plug held it agaist the cylinder head cranked it over and didnt see a spark |

then you've got spark...maybe a valve adjustment would help...does it backfire when letting off the throttle?

I'm stumped...possibly a new battery which has already been stated above, But i know that the yfz450 quads will act the same way when the battery s*hits itself.

Meaning they still rollover just fine but wont start for some reason

Wouldnt I see a spark when holding the plug against the cylinder head? while cranking it over

yes you should...if you can still bump it, you have spark. Try cleaning the plug or put in a new one. Bump starting the bike will make the motor roll faster than your starter will.

there is no reason why it shouldnt start, give it gas when trying to electric start it close the choke and wind it back a few times, open it and start it or clean the filter |
