TTR50 and CRF shocks

Are the TTR50 and CRF shocks interchangeable? Im in the market for an aftermarket shock and it seems most the ttr stuff is pricey compared to crf stuff. And on some site they say the shocks are interchangeable but I want to make sure before I buy anything. AND does the eye to eye measurement really matter?

yes the measurement does matter because that will tell you how much of an angle you will have your swingarm, you want +1" shock max on a stock swinger imo
