ttr50 Transmission noice

My sons ttr50 when you spin the rear wheel in neutral the trans make a banging noise inside the case.Almost like a tooth is broken on a gear.Does anyone have any answers for me.The bike is not evan a year old.Thanks

yeah my freinds ttr 50 did the same thing. he actually owns the camp hill yamaha shop. and he had to take the enitre engine apart. because what ended up happenin is he broke a few teath off the gear and metal shaveings went through out the entire engine and caseing=/ he had just rebuilt the tranny gears. and he just blew out first gear again 2 weeks ago. when u shift the bike into first gear and ride away. does it make a clicking sound? if so then rebuild the gears as soon as possible.
