| ttr50 Vs some KTMs
Ok first of all I ain't bashing on the KTMs cause my son has a 50sx Sr also. We were out at the track Saturday practicing an my boy had been riding his KTM an really struggled through the first practice but after a break an a short nap "his older sister had a Bday party the night before an he was up a little late" He came back swinging. His biggest competetion that was there is a friend of ours son that rides a Cobra Jr most of the time. For this practice the other kid got on his King Cobra an my boy put it on him pretty bad we kept pulling the kid off an putting him back on with my son to try to get them to ride together. But my boy kept pulling away. So he got back on his Jr "which he is much faster on" an my boy pulled away again!!! This was a first usually the other boy is alittle faster. Well after abit the other kid pulled off so I pulled my son off an switched him on to his ttr50 an stuck him back on the track with a group of 4 kids that were riding KTM Jr. Now I told him that the KTMs were faster bikes but just stick as close to them as he could. I was shocked for 5 laps not only did he stay close he stayed out front of all of them but 1 an he stayed right on his rear tire an the only reason that kid got around him was due to the flat out extra speed the KTM could carry on the long straight away. Needless to say I was shocked an so was the parents of the other kids that couldn't figure out how a 4 stroke Yamaha was staying with their KTMs. lol
