I know everyone recommends big bore kits and better heads, but I have to stay under 100cc for my class and at this point I don't have the cash nor skill to do a big bore and de-stroke. So is there any advantage to using say a Web 68 cam in a stock motor with a pipe, ported head, and carb mods? The people at Web do not recommend their 68/69 cam on a stock motor. I'm looking for top end and don't really care about bottom and mid-range performance.
