I got about 8 stockers in the garage.

I don't mod 73's strictly stockers.

I wish I had a few sets of nos forks tubes Hard to find a set that the chrome hasn't pitted.

I guess it won't be completely original as I plan on stripping and powder coating the rims.

True... My kitchen: Good light, an exhaust fan to evacuate the smell of oil and gas, access to a computer, plenty of 2nd opinions, etc...

I hate you, and your plaid Monkey seat.

OK, maybe envy is the right word

Powder coated my swingarm today and various other small parts. I love powdercoat! it's easy to apply and even a novice like myself can achieve an awesome finish!

The only problem I'm having as I put the bike together is sometimes it looks too good! Used parts that I considered good are no longer good enough. I thought the shocks pictured were a good set but have now decided to order new ones.

VHT high temp then bake
Little tip from Rocket Randy Lee!

I am going to use a polished valve cover but needed to have something covering the head while I painted it.

Re: I love it when a plan comes together, XR75

so now my wheels don't look good enough to go on this think. Stock XR front rims are still available but the rear is not.

I'm thinking about ordering a set of CRF80 hoops and trying to lace them to the XR hubs. I realize the CRF hub is quite a bit different so I will probabaly try using XR spokes.
