Check out this 2010 Indonesia? market KLX150 S. It looks to have a KLX140 motor in it with a kickstarter. I really dig that bodywork too. Could Kaw possibly redesign the bike we get here in the U.S. with a tad more displacement, some new bodywork, and a kickstarter?

I had a 140 for a bit, and the electric atart annoyed me. If there was any type of kickstarter setup available, I'd have pulled the battery, battery box, and starter motor out, and plugged the LH side cover where the starter motor drives, making the bike kickstart only.

Should I make some friends in other countries and import the parts to make a "kickstart kit"? I could repackage the parts, and mark it way up in price like a few vemdors did with the 4th gear shift drum on the KLX110. --L*64

That looks pretty good. I wish they would mount forks off the KX85/KX100 on it though.

Hello, Im indonesian and i would tell u tht KLX 150 in INDONESIA was downgrade spec from USA series klx 140 l for sale in Indonesia n other neighbour country. Swing arm,Rims, rear shock,disc brake rotor @ indonesia suck,its not like on US that made from almunium.Its only $2100 with down grade spec, but like i told u before its really different from klx 140 l.
