Man my ttr 125 is officially unridable now. My track is like beach sand (mini southwick haha) and the bike is slow anyways (like 7-8 horsepower) and with the engine the way it is performing its even worse. I dont know what exactly it is. I need a top end because compared to a friends ttr125 its super super slow, so I will probably just get the bbr150 kit. Or used if anyone has one? Heres my other problem: There is no power (maybe like 2 hp) whenever I am feathering the clutch or 5 seconds after I let the clutch out. The power kicks in later. Its just like its slipping the WHOLE god damn time. I am sick and tired of it and I think it just needs new plates but I am not sure. Does anyone have a link of what I need?! Thanks! Oh and one more little problem, I have no clue how to put this stuff on...but I am not going to pay to have someone install it its not a race bike. |

My Mood: | Re: TTR 125 dying on me Ok thanks....I am looking at the barnet clutch kit. So just the plates and springs? How hard is it ot put in? Also I am going to put the bbr150 kit in there and the lightened flywheel. Anything else I should do while I have the engine open. I ride this thing really really hard btw. Any info or instructions how to do all this? |

It sounds like the springs and plates. Possibly the pressure plate, but u have to open it up to see. When ur in there make sure your crank is in good condition, top ends arent very hard, its probabuly the same as any pitbike motor, except you will need to take the motor out and tip in on its side so when you take the cam chain off it doest fall into the cases. Just be careful. Shouldnt be too hard.
