I'm interested to know when the Honda Baja 50cc's (monkeys) were made & in what countries they were sold?

Japan and some of the European Countries.

1991-1993 Two types:

1991 Honda Monkey Baja

1992-1993 Honda Monkey Baja

I'm building one at the moment better then the original using a 1997 Z50R as a base with a slew of NOS Monkey Baja parts and a nice mix of aftermarket Japanese parts. I'll be selling my project once it's complete. Consider it a full custom Z50R Baja with all the bells and whistles.
