Noobie Questions

So I recently drove up to my parents house and nabbed my ZB50 ive had since 1993. It needs alot of work, but is a good start. So ive compiled a list of questions:
  • Will the BBR motor parts such as the bigger trannys with clutches and the 124 kits fit? The motor is extremely simular to the XR50 correct?
  • Where can I find basic OEM parts that I need to pass state inspecton, such as the blinkers and headlight bracket and such?
  • Where can I find NSR suspension parts? am I stuck with craigslist and ebay; and buying a loaner bike?
  • Does G-Craft have a webpage in english?
  • Is it even possible to attain freeway speeds with one of these?

Yes, The ZB motor is similar to the xr50 motor, 12 volt cdi motor. Most BBK will work.
Blinkers are very hard to find but certain year CT70 blinkers are almost identical. Headlight brackets are also very hard to find. Maybe use PBR or skyteam headlight brackets.
Do you want stock NSR parts?
G-Craft site can be translated to English. Check link to Google language tools.

Yes it is easy to get to highway speeds. Do some reading in the ZB section, most have them set up to go 60-80 mph.

Stock NSR parts would probably do me fine, I just want to be able to put 12 inch wheels and clip on bars on it. I have no clue what the price range is like on the NSR stuff, so if it isnt to terrible, I wouldnt be opposed to aftermarket.

Here is a price range for wheels.
You just missed a great deal on a nice set of wheels and tires.

Re: Noobie Questions

Tires aren't really as tall as most people want on a ZB. They would fit a monkey or CT70 way better with the low profile tire.
