okay... so about 2 weeks ago i bought a ZB... has a few issues, like no title, hacked wiring harness, no lights. no bigee. hemmed and hawed about doing a "restomod"... but i know me, and doing the things i do to a rare bike seems a crime, so i'll stuff it under one of my work benches, and pull it out when i have time. (yeah, RIGHT! time, ha!) so i bought Faatcaats skyteam set-up for what i feel was a pretty good deal, better to hack that up than a perfectly fine ZB! some stuff i'm sure will get used, some not.... i've got some junk laying around that will be put on instead.... NSR 6 spokes, brembo radial master cylinder, mychron gold plus data aq, some tt92's.... i have a tendency to make a lot of the stuff i put on my bikes, having a machine shop and TIG welders 30' from where i sit on my ass all night at work is handy!!! so you'll see a build from a slightly different angle. as soon as i get it, i figured i might as well powder the frame and any other parts i need done. i DOUBT you'll see any extra blingy parts on this bike, as i will be more interested in getting it to the ridable state.... but hey, you never know what the future brings!!!

I'd be real inclined to source a title to make it a "real" ZB, if you're gonna sprinkle that much cool stuff on it. Plans for the rear of the seat? Things are uglier than a KSR back there

the skyteam comes with paperwork, so it will be titled.
the next question is, what engine?!? i have a lifan 140 here, but it has crank issues, and apparently i can get JUST a crank. also.... exhaust. i though TB sold one? i looked and couldnt find. pix up tomorrow of my ZB, and possibly a few other of my monsters.

Picking up a Lifan 125 tomorrow from a friend. 4 gear, 1 down 3 up....stock, but should be enough to flow with in town traffic.

Firepower,are you running out of ammo? Bagging on the sweetness of a finely tuned KSR can only be pure envy on your part.Of course we all love the Honda ZB, but cant there be two beautiful fish in one pond?

Nah, to catch you up, I was bagging on Morgan, who'd picked on KSR's in another thread. I actually like the Kaw. The ZB's are growing on me, slowly. Kinda like those things I had the Doc remove after dating a woman of questionable morals.

i too love the KSR.... wish i could get my hands on one, for a realistic price. i think their pretty badass. lets face it.... you can build a monster klx engine.... and really one of the only reasons the Hondas hang is the weight differences. klx's are TANKS! the ZB is growing on me too.... its just the cash you gotta drop on one,,,, DANG! if you're one of those "gotta be Honda" types, you can buy a KSR for the price of a built honda engine!!
