can anyone tell me anything about this VIN JH2AB2208JS001465?
looking to add a zb to the stable. any tips on what to look for and ask?

It is the 1465 th one made on the Honda ZB50 production line.
I checked my service manual and it does not give you a breakdown on what they stand for. Call the Honda dealer they can tell you. Mine is the same except for the last bunch of numbers like all ZB's.
Look fors:
1. Make sure the motor does not SMOKE.
2. Get ZB owners manual (rare)
3. Check the inside of the tank for rust (bring flashlight) (Tank no longer available)
4. Make sure back swingarm is not bent
5. Check the speedo operation. (part no longer available)

JH2= HONDA Japan

AB2208= Vehicle description code

J= 1988

S = Suzuka plant

001465= made in sequence number

Also make sure the ignition key is matched for all locks(gas cap, fork, helmet)

Looks like another one of Jason's bikes... I would recognize that garage door anywhere. If you want someone local to get a look at it let me know and I will call him and swing by there.

the bike is in Florida, but I'm thinking he may have bought it from him. thanks for the offer though much appreciated. what kind of price would you all pay including shipping? he also has a monkey r that he's willing to sell. i'd love to get it but i think it would be to hard to plate.
