Is the ZB and NSR frame the same?

They look very similar and I was wondering if they are the same basic frame?
I may be looking to build my son a proper sized 10" road race bike over the winter and they look to be a great starting point.
I will probably start with a Chinese ZB clone (ST90) for the better brakes, 4 speed, and all new parts platform. I will of course be swapping out a lot of the components.

What do you think about an ST90 race bike with a 114 Chinese stroker?

Are they the same in any way? I know the obvious (engine mount) but the rest looks strikingly similar. Aside from the suspension and rearsets.

Re: Is the ZB and NSR frame the same?

That was a good thread but it only points out the obvious (engine and suspension mounts) when comparing the two. I want to know if the frame geometry is the same design as the NSR.
I want to build my son a 10" road race bike and a ZB clone (Skyteam ST90) looks like a good starting point. I also like the horizontal 4 stroke power plat as well.
I have an NSR now but he is still to small to race it safely and the ZB/ST style bikes look very appealing, with a little work of course. Strip it down and add some clip on's, Sava's, and swap out the engine for a Honda 88 with race head and were in buisness

Thanks for the info though

If an NSR is too big for your kid then a ZB will be huge, even with the 10 inch wheels. If you want something for him to run get a crf50 and put some low bars on it so he would ride it street bike style. Reform the seat or put a low seat on it and it will make a great little road racer.

the zb looks smaller in photos. almost looks the size of a z50.
but they're really the same size as the nsr like dan said.

...and steering stops, rake angle, sub-frame, tank mount, kick stand bracket but I'm sure this was obviously obvious to you.

I have 600mm front forks (normal length 540mm), a +16cm swingarm with longer shocks and 10" rims on my Z and now it is the same size as my st90(zb clone).

(and now with 12" rims it is taller and longer than the st90 )

edit: As supeness said, the ZB or st90 is taller, wider and heavier as the Z
