hi.
i currently have a tak 106 with hd special clutch and kitaco irk motor in my Z50R.
over the winter ill be putting that motor in to my ZB.
ill have to remove the kitaco irk and replace it with an outer rotor kit.
now my motor is balanced but when i install the heavy flywheel weight on the left side it will be unbalanced again.
is there a performance outer rotor kit that i can get for my ZB with a lightened flywheel ??????
will this Tokyo kit be able to power lights?????????????

hi
i dont think a tokyo-mods ignition powers lights
due to it being a modified cr125 ignition but it may be able to be wound by a electrical stator type of guy
the best outer rotor kit for honda monkey/ nice i've seen for a while is this

Small, light flywheel and advancing ignition, fits on all 12V cdi cranckshafts and will run lights with the right stator. There is also a version without lightcoils so watch out.

(and a revlimiter @ 11500 rpm, may be a disadvantage for a tak 106)

oh i see.
thanks BidPete for offering,but i still want to gather more info on outer rotor kits before i get one.
would it be possible to plug up a different rev box to the lifan ork to make it rev higher or does it come with its own rev box that cant be replaced????

50r..... My 106 is a crf motor. I took my ZB stator and bolted it to the crf motor stator plate and I used my ZB flywheel. Therefore it will plug right into the ZB harness.Or, you could get a 90 watt crf stator wrapped from Rickystator. Easier and cheaper solution IMO.

My 106 motor with ZB stator and I didn't even have to remove the plate. The green wire for the neutral light is not used.
