im really considering racing the 12" ametuar class in vegas what size bore would be competetive and whats the competetion like are they all super fast or is it 50/50 any input would be helpful since im coming from illinois.

at least a 160 and I would say 50/50 I have watched it for 4 years and this year I am taking my bikes and running

You are gonna have a really tough time if you are a first timer at vegas but if you got a good size motor like atleast a 140 kit you will have about a 30% chance but i cant really say cause i dont know how fast you are

You need a motor to get out in front, it's all about the start and not going down.

i raced vegas for the first time this past year. in 12" am and there are alot of pros in that class. my bike has a 168 and i got pulled on. i will deffinatly say practice your starts.. they are key.

Who cares if ya win or not I don't think this sport needs to be like big bike racing! The reasion most people get into riding pit bikes is just to go have fun and take one another out haha.. So just go ride and have fun!

Vegas, is not just about fun anymore, there are to many big names and to much money in it, it is serouis business, but go you will never know if you don't try, I will be there too, racing for the first time in the vet +35 class. |

nice look at all the midwest guys going this year!!! we have a group from Iowa going. a few 12am and 12 stk/mod guys. first timers. can anyone help with timing of getting there? we are gonna roll in on wednesday night. thursday we gotta be there all day? thanks
