I bought an item for $150.
Paid for it on 8/29.
Have sent several emails and received several excuses.
Guy lives less than 90 miles from me. Item should have been here by now.

How long should I wait before posting bad feedback?

I don't want to be an ass but if I don't receive it by this Friday I will leave: Screen Name
Real Name and Phone number of Seller.

He has items for sale now.

Trying to be understanding but running out of patience.

i think you should meet the guy halfway and have him return the money you paid for shipping if you paid and if he fails to compromise just follow thru wit paypal and leave the bad feedback. I mean its almost been a month

Bad feedback is overdue. You shoulda had those parts in 3 days tops. Flame him for all he's worth now.

The guy contacted me yesterday after I sent yet another email. He said "I forgot and would send it today". I want to give him the benefit of the doubt but It's been a month now.

I've had lots of luck buying parts from great sellers like Reeg50, Shade, Demondave and others. I understand stuff comes up and sometimes life gets in the way. Hell I'm 46 with 3 teen age boys I can totally understand about being busy. All I ask is for communication. Let me know every few days that hey I couldn't get to it, or forgot, whatever. Don't just avoid me.

Thanks and hopefully I will get it next week and that will be the end of it. If I get it next week I'll let it drop. If not I will start with Paypal then post his info in every forum everyday for as long as I can type.

You are a better man than I with far more patience. Almost a month before even shipping is a joke. The dude probably means well and is just a habitual procrastinator. The world seems to be full of them. I don't see how any of them keep a job.

Hahaha same here. Hell I would have put bad feedback if he hadnt shipped it within a week. Good thing he is selling to a guy with incredible patience or he might not be sellin much more on here lol..

He said he shipped it Friday and would send me the tracking number. It's now Sunday and he still hasnn't sent the tracking number so if I don't get the tracking number by Monday I will update this post his name and contact.

The funny thing is we were both going to drive an hour each way to meet, buth I thought I'd send the guy and extra $25 just to ship it so we won't both have to drive for 2 hrs.

I've bought dozens of items here with no issues until now.

Frame and title arrived today. The seller included a free wiring harness.

The title is NOT SIGNED . . . and still registered in some other guys name, so I guess I'll have to forge a signature and head to the DMV.

32 days total from payment to receipt.

All in all not the greatest transaction, but I will leave it at that.

Glad it all worked out. Don't hesitate to sign that title yourself. I make them leave every one I buy blank if I can so they don't screw it up. If you want real problems wait till someone signs a title in the wrong place or adds an extra initial or something stupid. I had a guy do that and then move to India before I could get it transfered. It was a very bad thing!
