I will never buy from pister pro again!!!

I ordered parts from Pitster on 3 occasions and never recieved the parts on EVERY occasion. I needed shift forks for a Lifan and on the 28th of last month I was told they would be shipped out the next day. 9 days later I called because I never received the parts. Because this was the 3rd time (YES, 3RD TIME) I've been done like this ordering parts from them I cancelled the order. 3 days later the money still had not been credited back to my bank account. I called back and asked to speak to a manager and the young guy on the other end said he was the manager. I told him about my ordeal on not getting the parts on the 3 occasions and he stated this occured because the parts were not in stock. On every order I was told the parts would be shipped out the next day. (Why would they tell a customer the parts would be shipped the next day if they were never in stock?) I asked about my refund and told him it still hadn't been credited back to my account after requesting for a refund days ago. He stated it takes 2-3 days for it to go through and he saw where it had been refunded. He stated it would show a refund in my account the next day. Well, that was this past Tuesday... here it is Friday nite and the money still hasn't been refunded into my account and I still have no parts. It's sad when a customer is done like this on THREE different occasions. I WILL NEVER ORDER A PART FROM PITSTER PRO AGAIN!!! All I want is the refund for parts that I never received. I should have listened to myself after the first 2 experiences and read the negative posts here about other customers being done the same way. What is it going to take Pister to get my refund or the parts I ordered?

just file a charge back with your card or bank if they don't refund you.

Seems like that's exactly what I'll have to do . Like the parts that it seems they never intended on sending, they probably don't intend on giving me my refund.

Very sorry for your troubles I will fallow up with the parts dept personally and see what is going on. However please keep in mind we do not control how quick the credit card company process the credit return. Even if we make the credit today it will take several days to show up back in your account. Again sorry for the troubles and I am sure we will solve this for you.
Please call me Monday (ask for Gary) or pm me your name, info, so I call fallow up on this.

I purchased the part on the 28th. On the 30th it showed in my account that I had purchased a part from you. Why would it take more than a week for it to show a refund? As for your parts dept... IT SUCKS!!! I thought highly of Pitster after reading some of your posts and visiting your site. But after going through this on 3 occasions and getting shafted every time has taught me a lesson.

well to be honest here in pitster's defense if they did refund you it can take 4-7 business days for the money to show back up in your account. it is just how things work for some reason.

seems like they in such a hurry to take your money but cant be honest and tell you that supposengly the "parts werent in stock" sureee

Also please understand as I have said before, once a credit is issued the credit card company can and normally will take 5-7 days to return the money to your card, THAT IS BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

to start with the guys have an attitude when things dont go there way,those guys get in a bind and they ship your stuff back to u cod,what a bunch of cry babies ,take an extra minute an find a small shop to deal with,some who will work there buts off for your money ,you had to

I now understand that that the refund process can take 5-7 days. But the whole reason why I'm in this situation is IN YOUR CONTROL! You said you'd get to the bottom of this on Monday but I'm more than sure this is not your 1st time reading a complaint where a customer has gotten shafted like this. I can't be sure, but it sounded like the same young guy that said he's the parts manager is the same young guy that I spoke with when I ordered the part.

I contacted two shops that I deal with (FirePower Minnis & T-Bolt) and was told they didn't have those and gave me a list of Lifan suppliers that could possibly get the parts. I contacted AHP minnis (No answer or email return), PitPro (No return call), Quad Dr (Didn't have the parts), Whole-sale cycles (Didn't have the parts), and 2 other dealers overseas (One which didn't have them and the other doesn't ship to US). I even went on ebay and contacted Lifan dealers and was unsuccessful. Calling Pitster and dealing with them again was my last option. Terry at FirePower finally was able to track something down for me and it's on it's way. I also made contact with DR. ATV/Beatrice Cycle and ordered another set from them.

A drum with forks, and a couple spare forks, in case the lil' stomper bends them up again, will be there Monday.

Pitster handles WAY more transactions than about anyone in the business, and even at a lower-than-standard error rate, is gonna have these issues pop up.

I guess you're right on that one Terry. But if that's the case they shouldn't have told me on 2 seperate occasions the part would be shipped out the next day. Even on one of those I was told it was all boxed up and ready to go. I more than sure Gary will get this resolved for my situation, but things shouldn't have to come to this for it to get resolved. If they would have at least told me it'll be a week before it ships I would have been fine with that. On the other occasion, I was having it 2 day shipped to make a race that weekend (Reason why I was told it was boxed up and ready to go.) Part never showed up either.

I will never buy from them ever agen. I bought two GPX 8'' front end travel kits for a KLX and it took for ever to recieve them. after being told it would take 5 days to get them in the mail i got them on the 11th day. when i finally got them i didnt get all the parts that were supposed to come in the kits and the fork legs were scratched and damaged do to bad packaging . after talking to people and emailing in pictures. They sent me the parts i was missing and some were still not there and some were still wrong. from the day of purchase to the day i got all my parts finally being able to ride was about 20 days. i would go through other companies you can get beter service and quicker shipping for the same price else where.

Sorry for the troubles Rob, I have checked on your refund this morning, it was returned to your account on the 10th so It has been seven days sice we made he return, Please let me know if you dont see it in your account today.

i ordered a new z155 over two weeks ago. they told me it would ship the next day, now they tell we i wont have it until next tuesday, 21 days, i have a race tuesday at marshfield fair grounds, and i have no motor. great customer service! thanks Pitster
