Re: MiniBike Outlet - Beware!!!

So I got my statement today, and not only have they not sent anythong or answered my calls/emails, they charged me twice for what I ordered!
Definatly contesting the orders, and they are being reported to the bbb.

I resent that butchered English remark.

I wasn't a member of the Mini community at all when I ordered from them a couple of weeks ago - a move they are now forcing me and my 8 year old son to seriously regret. They have an awesome website that looks completely legit and I even googled them for bad reviews with with phrases like minibikeoutlet sucks, minibike outlet stinks, mini bike outlet ripped me off, minibikeoutlet.com reviews, etc, etc, etc with hardly a negative hit. There is no good reason at all to believe they are not a reputable internet business until it is too late - unless you read about it on a forum like this one - a fact I was unlucky enough to discover only yesterday when I joined for the first time.

I hate to necro an old thread, but people need to know that MBO doesn't seem to have changed a bit in the last several months. Once they have your money, you are at their mercy and there is no way to contact them. I repeat - there is no way to contact them. You'll see all this contact information on the site, but they simply will not reply to anything or even answer the phone. Nor will the phone line even let you leave a mesage. It just gives you some spill about them being "an internet business first" and hangs up on you after saying the mailbox is full. That would be great if they'd just answer emails (since they are an internet business first and all) so you wouldn't have to call in the first place.

Update: They finally answered my emails over a week after my 1st inquiry and told me they are waiting for my tires to arrive at their place without further elaboration. After reading the info on the site, I believed when I placed the order that I would have them in 7 days or less. Like I said, I'm now at their mercy. I'm glad I didn't pay for the faster shipping option thinking it would actually get here in 3 days or something. All I can do now is hope.

Update: 8 days since my last update and still hoping.... and waiting. I sent another email yesterday but I've learned not to hold my breath or anything. I ordered tires, not something that has to be fabricated or anything.

Update: It's now been over 3 weeks. MBO has only answered one email of 4 and avoided all phone calls. The one response was painfully brief and evasive. I finally asked my credit card company to cancel this order and dispute the charges which they gladly said they'd do after hearing my story. They instructed me to refuse the package if it comes and leave everything up to them. I've had this card for over 15 years and nothing like this had ever happened. It was great to find out they were totally on my side.

Hey, minibikeoutlet.com, YOU'RE FIRED!!!

Everyone should understand that the ridiculous amount of time that elapsed without my product is the least of my complaints. The downright avoiding me is what was so untollerable. If a product is on backorder or something, just say so and let the customer decide what to do about it. I still do not know why my tires never arrived. I ordered a set of Michelin Starcross tires today from my local cycle accessory store and they've assured me they'll be here in 2 days at the most. They haven't lied to me yet and they can't hide.

Update: Michelin tires arrived in 2 days as promised. I sould have just gone down the street right off the bat. Be carefull who you do business with over the internet.

Thanks, chasetheface123.

Your sympathy and kind words are greatly appreciated. We missed 1/2 of the 2 month premium riding season around here screwing around with MiniBikeOutlet. From now on I will try contacting anyone I do business with before I place an order. No prompt reply, no business from me.

Live and learn.

I tried them before I was a pm member also. I called them before I ordered my parts and asked if they had them in stock. They said yes, so I ordered them, and after that they decided not to answer emails or answer phone calls. They quickly called after my creditcard company canceled the charge assuring me the parts would arrive soon, I told them to **** off.
