pitbiker8 took my money and isnt giving it back. i have his phone number and adress if anyone wants to help me and pick off the is ass munch, pm me. i will give you the full story there. he lives in sutton, ontario. i basically bought a bike from him on june 9th. at that point i was supposed to have the bike on the18-23 of june. he never sent the bike with excessive complaints about parts he ordered for it, that i asked for so it was ok. then he told me he got all of my parts and it was reeady to ship on the 8th of july, and show up from the 17-21. no suprise it never showed. so i called his parents house and they said they would take care of it. i have repedadly asked him to return my money or my bike, ad noresponce. it is now 3 months after i expected for me to get my bike. and i have no money, and no bike. so if anyone wants to help throw me a pm, and i will give you all the dirt. i cant really do much cause he is in canada, and im in the usa.

What kind of bike was it, and how much $$$ did you send him?

You should contact the Canadian authorities where he lives and ask them for assistance or advice on what your options are.

it was an x4r, for 1770. with a bunch of goodies. thats what i plan on doing if i can find the right city to call.

man that sucks and the fact that you gave him good fb. GOOD LUCK!!! i hope you get your money back. but with this type of matter you have to contact his local police because now its larceny of over $1000.

Seems to be happening quite often on here, as I was also scammed by a guy who "lived in canada" turns out he had like 5 screennames on here with the same ip addy and was responding to his own posts either way i was out 200 bucks and paypal couldnt do anything I wish there was a way to prevent this from happening to us!

You guys need to do more research on who you're buying from. This guy's name has been posting in this section at least 3 times already and it's been confirmed that he has multiple accounts on this site. The admins/mods need to step it up and ban every single one of those screen names and list his IP on the permanent ban list. A sticky of scammers on the top of this section would also help. If you're serious about getting your money back then you need to give all the info to his local police department.(He list Sutton,Canada in his profile.)

These people do get banned, use roaming IP's and create new accounts.

Additionally, it's not up to the PM staff to root out the dishonest people and it's up to the buyer/seller to know who they are dealing with.

If we run across fraudent activity, we do remove people. However, they keep coming back even after bans and IP bans.

Bottom line is know who you are doing business with and if nobody can vouch for them and the price seems too good to be true, it usually is.

yeah i think these guys hit a few times big then stay away i was in june as well! then they prolly just create a new screenname and continue till someone catches on! Just wierd someone would think to do it on a pitbike forum of all places!

That may be true but if you sent him 1770 in june and he had 3 threads pop up with his name in July then it would've been in your best interest to withdraw your funds until you saw his name cleared. I don't understand how you can send that kind of money and have so much patience. After the first bull**** excuse I would've taken my money back with the quickness.
