Thumbs down Ryan Skalny

Not sure of his screen name, but we had a customer, Mr. Skalny, contact us for graphics. The whole process went very smooth and we shipped his product, HOWEVER... we sent out an item he hadn't paid for, in good faith he was going to pay the following business day. He was very nice and promised to pay us.

Well... that day rolled around, no money. A week went by, still nothing. It has now been over a month and he will not respond to our e-mails nor send us the funds.

My Skalny, if you see this please just send us payment for the seat and I'll delete this thread.

But until then, I'd have to advise to be careful if you're trying to do business either way, as it feels like we got burned on this deal.

Search for "Skalny" and you'll find at least 3 threads; some have had success tracking down his parents who seem to be willing to make good on his debts.

small claims court will only put a judgement on his credit it won't get you any money...I know I took a guy to small claims court over 10years ago and I still have not seen any money....this bastard still owes me over 400$....oh and it is not the same guy ya'll are talking about, it is just an experince I had....

Re: Ryan Skalny

+1 on the futility of taking dirt bags to small claims. I also won a judgement, later took the guy to "judgement debtor" court as well, and that was 20 years ago and I never saw a dime despite winning every time. Small claims is good when you are in the right, and the person you are taking to court is a responsible person who just disagrees on their liability.
