A couple weeks ago I bought a bike from one of Twisters buddies. His friend was out of town a bunch during that week but Twister took the initiative to break it down, track and ship it for me within a week of payment. When the bike got here I was a bit worried about the mangled cardboard boxes that arrived at my door. Holes everywhere and parts sticking out, luckily nothing was scratched and nothing was missing. The only problem I found was that during shipping, the back of the back brake lever bent at a 90 degree angle and lodged under the swingarm. I couldn't bend it back into place without still having pressure on the brake so I need a new OTT Brake pedal.. Who knows if this could have been prevented from better packaging but I'm blaming this one on UPS. The dude that dropped it off looked pissed to be carrying a box that heavy. Anyway, Twister left all the bolts where they should screw in making reassembly a breeze, and didn't misrepresent the bike whatsoever during the transaction. After a bit of carb work the bike woke right up. No nasty sounds(other than the common and noisy YX head) , it shifted and pulled strong. Great bike, Great seller. Thanks for getting me on the track! |

You sure the valves aren't hitting the top of the piston? I put a YX head on a 143 cylinder with 55mm crank and the valves touched the top of the piston.
