i had once done some research on these, i think you can use a Lifan 150cc engine in them, you could possibly modify that further. That would make it a 4 speed manual electric start. Google that and see what you come up with!
Hope it helps

"Well g'day mate. Lets put another shrimp on the barby" (Dumb and Dumber)

Nice bike. Digging it. You get extra coolnes points for the "case of beer" rack. You could probably hold two 12packs of Fosters. Sweet!

Welcome to PM.

Check with DRATV. He has some lifan conversion stuff on his site. Motor mounts are not the same. He has everything you need and lots of pictures of the swap.

Those motors are bulletproof. I wouldn't sacrifice the reliability by installing an inferior Chinese motor.

But anyway, there are kits available that would allow you to do the conversion. THis tutorial is for a CT90, but the engine mounts are the same I believe:

CT90_ENGINE_SWAP PARTS_NEEDED SOME_INSTRUCTIONS

I would look into installing a jug and piston from a 1984 or '85 ATC125M. I know they share the same cylinder head as the CT110, but not completely sure the rest would be a direct swap. That way, you'd keep that Honda reliability.
