|  New to the fiddy world
I just picked up an 03 xr50 for my son (I'll probably have more seat time than him) and thought I would swing through and check out the site. I am in Indy, my name is Tommy and this is my first bike of any kind really. |

his is going to stay stockish for a while. He's 5. He has been riding a pocket rocket for about a year and wanted to step up to a dirtbike. It didn't hurt his chances that I wanted one too.  I just ordered a frame and gas tank today to piece one together for me. A buddy of mine gave me a fistful of his takeoff parts from his 07. After I get the frame, I will just need an engine and some bolts to get it up and running. After it is up and going, I am going to start upgrading the suspension to take a little abuse from me. For the main part I will be using it to follow him around and occasionally take it to a buddy's house to do some slight offroading.

thaNks for all the welcomes. We got a new throttle cable in and Aidan got to ride for the first time with his new boots. Thursday night I'll have him back out with the boots on. Once he gets used to them, well start working on getting him used to his chest protector and pants.
