Re: Botm

Yeah, Cause I think alot of guys that enter for 50 of the mont and midsize of the month dont even have a chance againsh some of the other bikes. It should pretty much be a B.O.T.M. with like nothing over an 88kit, no aftermarket frame, no marzocchi,bombshell,sr-5,ect high end fork kits. Jus like sp-5 or under and hd springs. No big bike style swinger, only conventional "A" style. And maybe a cap of say bikes with under $2000 invested w/o cost of the bike.

This is a great idea for the guys that would never have a chance against the $10,000+ Bikes that win mini of the month every month.

Re: Botm

I'll start it up I can't take craedit for the welding on the arm, pipe, and brake rod, but the mix & match motor is all from my spares bins. Crusty 110 Lifan with a busted trans became a 117, tuned up head, YX outer rotor. I'm gonna put a Horstman in, so I can have brakes with both hands...

Re: Botm

good idea, Bt i disagree with the postings of rules, you should be allowed marzocchis or whatever. anything can be beat on so simply judge based on haggard-ness

Re: Botm

My friends bike - At one time it was a Pitster X4, this is all that remains... he still rides it all the time.

Mods include:
Broken clutch lever
No rear brakes (all that remains is the rotor)
No front brakes
Custom half front fender, the only piece of plastic left on it.
Bent bars
Bent foot pegs
Custom flat spotted front wheel - upgraded to tube without a hole in it.
Recently he put a new used engine in it, so he doesn't have to be pulled behind a car to start it.

No brakes, no chain. Fail.

There is a chain - it is wrapped around the swingarm and rear hub.

Category is beater of the month, this is the most beat on / neglected thing I've ever seen... just be glad it's not yours. I'm scared to let my bike get close to it for fear it might catch whatever that thing has.
