I got the numbers off the forum for the power up. It says to get a main, a pilot and a needle. I saw power up kit by Honda on Ebay which comes with a main and a needlie. Which one works best?

Depending on what year 150F you have you may not need the power up needle. The stock needle, if it has 5 clip positions, has been proven to work better (with the clip in the 4th position) than the power up needle.

Edit: I saw your other post on thumpertalk and see that you have a 2004 (same as mine) so stick with the stock needle with the clip in the 4th position (from the top) and get the 110, 112 and 115 mains with a 42 pilot.

It came witha 110 and a stock 42. I put in a 115 and a new 42. I'll go and change the clip position. so it's the 4th from the top right?

Yes, 4th position from the top or blunt end. You may want to try a 112 just to see if it is better than the 115 also.

I just moved the clip position> I can't really tell. I think I need my chick to ride it. Too much on the kx450f.

It took me a long time to figure out if the 3rd or 4th position was better...but after changing it back and forth several times (under 2 minutes)the 4th does seem better.

She just rode it. She said it made a difference. Well I won't be working on it for a while. I need to replace the cylinder and piston on my kx450f.
