| How tuff is the 150f/r?:
How much abuse can the 150's handle? fmx and maybe some trail riding w/friends.I already know the Honda motor is the last thing to worry about. The forks on a 150f look really weak like that of a crf70/100.I am looking at a 150 and just wanted to make sure they are worth it!. thanks. |

theres a big differeence between the two ones a race bike and ones a trail bike the 150r is more of a mini sized 250 and its a motocross background when youu have the 150f its made for trail riding and its slow mostly a begginer bike if i were you i would get the 150r its a better deal and you wont be dissapointed the 150r will be the better and tougher bike |

My Mood: | Re: How tuff is the 150f/r?: 150F: BULLETPROOF!!!! My dad use to own one back when he rode and he'd keep the bike 5th gear pinned all day long then end up taking some nasty ass spills out in the desert and all it did was add a few scratches to the bike but thats about it. The 150Fs pretty much just get away with oil and gas. The forks arent all that bad either. Its been ridden around for 3 years hauling a 220pound rider on the stock suspension but if you're looking for plush, theres always HD springs and a heavier viscosity fork oil available. Its so fun to just pin it on 150Fs, they're not as jumpy and squirly as motocross bikes are. All I did to mine was : 26mm carb Uni pod filter Cam white bros pipe And the thing just ripped! I've raced it a few times and its a very user friendly bike on a mini track where as a 150R would crave a bigger track. Its best potential is out on the trails/ desert but either way, its just a fun, low maintainence bike great for everyone! Ive almost died twice crashing my 150r and the thing has never once had a single problem. The suspension works well for trial riding too. I race mx and ride trails and the 150r works great for both.
