Hey guys I was wondering if anybody has used this piston as a replacement for the oem one? HONDA ALL CRF70'S AND ALL XR70'S PISTON SETS :eBay Motors (item 270457027925 end time Oct-15-09 14:00:15 PDT)
The quality and everything looks okay except for the fact that it has a concave type top to the piston instead of the slightly domed like the stock one has. Would that affect compression drastically or have any clearance issues? any input is appreciated.

Yeah..I've been eyeing that one too. Problem is.. it already has scuffing on the sides and the rings aren't new.(haven't been broken in yet but ya know..don't wanna take the chance)

Just do yourself a favor and order a weisco.

Well it's actually doing my engine a favor..my wallet not so much. $93! I might as well get a bore kit.

I forgot to mention that I'm on a budget. I would really like a 88 kit but I just wanna get the engine running right now.

Unless you're using a 50 head, that ebay unit will kill your compression.

Terry had a good used TB88 kit for the stock head...I know I dropped off over there..hit him up.
