| El' Chinga swinger on crf 70
hi, Ive searched and theres nothing like this that actually explains it! Im going to buy the typical china crf50 type swinger for my crf70.Together with a DNM MT-RC and a 50 caliber shock relocater will it all fit on? Also will the crf50 swingarm kits fit straight onto the crf70 back end? As im looking to buy this mono winger kit made for a 50 from 50 caliber just without a shock: Kit #2 Comes with everything in kit #1 except a shock. This kit comes with an 800 pound Eibach spring that can be used with a 50caliber shock, Ishock, or almost any other 10 1/2 - 11 1/2" eye to eye shock. Please check to make sure spring with fit your shock if its not listed above. Spring dimensions = inner diameter is 32.5mm and total length is 7 1/4 inches. Kit#2 includes 3 1/4" extended swingarm with 9" of travel 800lb Eibach spring Mounting bracket for stock or aftermarket frame Chain guide and slide Extended brake rod Raises ride hieght by 4 inches for 375 shipped to australia....is it worth it? So is it better to get my own chinese crf50 swinger and a seperate shock and a 50 caliber shock relocater or just buy that kit and a DNM? Also do i need one of the midsize chinese swingers or the crf50 type ones? or am i just an idiot and there all the same fit? Does the stock brake setup still work with these? Once these are answered ill shoot some about the front end hehe |

Damn, people never listen, im so tired of people spending their money on that bull**** and then it breaks, if you have a ****in C-R-F 70 then put some decent parts on it, not a god damn pitster swinger on it. Get a ****in plus two singer and an Elka shock, or a float. jesus christ dont you know good advice when you hear it?

If you have your heart set on a mono swinger then buy a used one from someone that has one off of a BBR pro frame and fab up your own shock relocater brackets and it will be way better then that pitster trash.

Dont post bulletins about this stuff then if you dont expect someone to give their .02, I dont see the point of spending just as much money on something that is half the quality.

Ryan you are a retard. I'm also tired of people singing the praises of Pitster, and/or Elka. Not everyone wants to (or can) spend that much money on pitbikes. I just bought a SGR110 last night for $600 and I'm sure my daughter will be thrilled with it. Maybe these upgrades that Australian wants are not for him(ever think of that?) and for one of his kids. For the most part there is nothing wrong with the china parts. They are not race worthy for an entire season, but they will work for playing around and some track time. To answer your question, yes the china CRF50 swingers will fit the CRF (50, and 70) chassis. Sure you will have to do some fab for the brakes, and shock mount, but that's up to you. Pit bikes have a sort of shadetree mechanics to them unless you are hell bent on spending 3K on a chassis and 2K on a motor. As far as being half the quality for the same price......guess yo haven't been pricing much lately. The better stuff is WAAAAAAAAAY more expensive than the china stuff. Better quality, yes, same price, no way. Besides if you are not sure just contact a couple vendors and take some measurements to be sure. You could do what I did and sell my CRF70 and buy a complete modded china bike for what you will get from your Honda. I'm pretty much done with the Jap bikes. Too expensive, and not that much better. See if you can find the rear end off an SDG Pro Mini, wheel and everything. Bolts up, doesn't require frame mods, and gets you extra length and travel. Plus it sits just about right on a CRF70 chassis. http://www.x386.net/TTR/media/unsorted/HPIM0358.JPG The only 'difficult' part is mounting the rear brake master. http://www.planetminis.com/f8/rear-b...ing-60716.html |

90% of all swingarms are made in China or Taiwan, so don't let the "made in" part scare you, just go with one for a good price that has a good reputation. BBR super pro would be awesome, but spendy. Sorry I can't be of more help, but heard a RCM style swingarm is easy to make work with some generic ebay/ pitster/ ssr brakes.
