hey i just got my pro taper SE handlebars and ive been figuring out why they arent going on.

heres the problem, i took the throttle assembly off and there is a little gold pin. works fine on the stock handlebars

but it wont even slide onto the pro tapers
does the pin move down or do i have to get another throttle assembly.

you could drill a hole in the bars but you should get a new aftermarket throttle

get a crf 80 throttle
