| sizes of stock axles
does anyone know the size and thread of stock 99 xr70 front and rear axles... i am wanting to replace them with longer bolts or some all thread, so that i can use some skateboard wheels for axle sliders...  later, Chris |

I need to find a dealer in the US that will carry them, over in Japan there are tons of companies making delrin and metal sliders for 12mm axles. They look like thick, oversized soda caps. They come with a thinner self locking nut, you put them on like washers, and they stick out, extending past the ends of the axle, protecting it in a getoff. I'll post some pics of my spare set later and see if I can find a US dealer. (G-Craft makes metal ones, I'll see if they do them in plastic also...)
