Hey does anyone know where I can get some street tires for my 70? I found a 3.00 x 12 rear on ebay but no 2.50 x 14 for the front. I searched around for the last hour and I cant find a matching set. Anyone know whats the closest metric tire size to the stock size? Where have you guys been getting your steet tires from?

yeah there are actually a few 14 inch street tires out. Keep searching...I am too lazy right now.

There arent many good options though...We ran 12's front and rear to solve that problem

thats what we do on the klx the only 14 i could find mine was a chingshang or somthin

Finding the rear tire has been fairly easy so far but yeah, the 14 in the front has been quite a bitch to find. Anyone have an actual link to purchase one?

Found it finally.. In case anyone else is looking.

2.50-14 Street Tire (for 14 inch rim)

Of course the same place doesn't sell the rear 3.00-12..... getting these tires is turning into a real mission.

I would try contacting Pitster Pro. They sell both 12 and 14 inch motard bikes so they should have the tires available.

I have a TB 88rh kit that's waiting to go on this week when my clutch tool comes in so I'm waiting to get that installed before she makes her pro debut lol.

Well the ebay rear is on. I'm running it with the knobby front right now, lol but the IRC front should come in Monday. If anything it looks like you could fit a wider tire on there, say a 3.50 by 12 if they even make such a thing. I also got my TB 88 RH kit installed today. Maybe I'll post some pictures when the front comes in.

I haven't found much time for the little bike lately... Its at my girlfriends house right now otherwise I would take a picture for everyone else looking for a cheap steet tire. Soon though.
