I'm looking to get back into stunting. I used to have a CRF150F that I used to beat the snot out of. I'm looking to go smaller this time, but not to small. I'm 6'2 300lbs so I'm convinced a 50 is out of the question. I'm liking the KLX110, and the XR70. WHat would you guys recommend?

Haha $1,400 for a used 2007 SSR. Pass that deal up! You can find much better bikes for that price. You can stunt on a stock KLX110 or CRF70. I'd say get the KLX110 as the aftermarket support is much greater than it is for the CRF70.

I would agree with schfiddy schfiddy. Its going to be a lot easier to find parts for the KLX 110 |

I got a pretty nice KLX110, bored to a 143. It's nice, I'm just getting used to trying to stunt it cause I haven't done it in like 2 years. I need pegs and a 12 bar. |

Wow 143 seems like a lot for stunting. Is the throttle extremely touchy because of all the torque? Anyway, congrats on the bike. Post pics!

The throttle is a bit touchy, I'm gonna have to work out the gearing just a bit, but the power is just right. I came off a YZ250, so I'm having a hard time riding wheelies on a thumper again. On the YZ it was wide open, off, wide open, off and you just let the front tire fall before you pick it back up with the power. I need to get my throttle control down. It's gonna take time, but it'll all work out |
