Finally got a hold of my uncles welder (getting one for myself soon) today and welded up my bmx pegs. It wasn't that simple tho. First I could only fit one onto the axle since the wall was too thick on the peg. So I decided today once I got home to break out the good ol' hack saw and go at it. I cut the big hunk of metal off, so I had just a metal tube, open on both sides. My luck the peg had the same inside diameter as some washers I had (look at picture). So I went on with the cutting. I rode over to my uncles (on the 50 haha) and put them together. I used 1/4 inch carriage bolts with the head cut off for the adjusters. Overall they work great! Post more when I get to actually take them for a test (little late now). Tell me what you think.

I didn't weld the inside. I cut the mount completely off and just weld on some washers. Works great... little cautious to let my friends ride it considering I'm only 90 pounds, but still, they hold me fine |

fasttrails.com has all the stuff 50stunt sells way overpriced for half the price. They have a limited color selection but couldnt you just use spray paint?

cut the bottom of the tubes at an angle so when you take corners you dont scrape out
