My Mood: | question...
I just picked up and 04 crf50 the other day its my 3rd one. But anyways when I do 2nd gear wheelies it was doing fine when I first got it but now when I give it full throttle it hesitates then grabs and its hard to keep control when it does that, do I just need to tighten my chain?? thanks.

You may just need to tighten your chain or maybe you have some slack in your throttle cable.

I had the same problem and it was a dirty slow ( pilot ) jet. If tightening the chain or adjusting the throttle cable doesnt work try cleaning the carb. I had to get one of those parts cleaner buckets from auto zone, like 22 bucks. I left the whole carb in there minus rubber and plastic and that Sh*t is strait money now.

Yeah it was just my chain. But after practicing getting a balance point on my 50 for so long now and I got it down, I can wheelie my trx450 wayyyyyy better in the dunes. Its weird how much stunting my 50 helps on bigger bikes! |
