So i installed my Glen Bar and was scraping in no time! I was scared out of my mind after seeing people legs torn apart and people telling me about broken bones on there first attempts. But it was really easy if i may say.

Couple things though. First if anyone gets a 12 bar, make sure you face your carb overflow hoses toward the front of the bike. Mine were toward the back and i leaked a half a gallon on my driveway before i figured it out. O and on that note....you really don’t want to see my driveway. I pretty much demolished it....Good thing the sun went down before the RENTS could see anything wrong! After 12 o'clocking for a while though it kind of screwed my wheelies up because i was so used to going back all the way past the balance point and I couldn’t figure out when to call it quits going back too far on wheelies...O well. Lastly how are people’s legs getting killed on 12 bars, were they wearing shorts stunting. I see the edges are kinda sharp but i cant see how it is shanking people. I was doing full on 2nd gear scraps without dumping the bike every time. Maybe beginners luck! we will see tomorrow

i was thinking about buying a frame with a built in round bar. then do the old hole in the fender trick.

! Mine should be here any day now. How did it go on, smooth? Was it painted or raw? Pay some one to take some pics or get the neighborhood kids to take them, I want to see. Where in Jersey are you exactly anyway? I'm in S.J. near A.C.

yea with a roundbar on a dirtbike you can cut a hole in the fender for a place to put your foot like a 12 bar.

you know it!!!! tommorrow its going on the fender! I just dont know how I am going to du-du up to it while at 12 o'clock....... seems like du-du follows the laws of gravity

ahaha. round bar still isn't a 12 bar. 12 bar scrapes are like doing girl pushups man. a round bar doesn't stick out any more than a stock fender, in fact on an aftermarket frame it is a couple inches in from the fender so it is just there to stiffen up the subframe and if you cut a hole in your rear fender it gives a place to put your foot for walking the bike and no handers.

Have you ever attempted to scrape fender?

i think most people get hurt by their 12-bar when they try to bail and dont clear the bar.

I have a few spots where they havent bothered me 2much. with the 50's they usually tell me to just put it in the truck and take it home

Coolo I ride both now

. I just got into stunting just to play around and teach my son bike control. I ride at E-Town and Blue Diamond for the most part. I will be doing the whole NEOC series and most of the 2UP series as well, along with the Trapani races.
