stuff on the way...

i had ordered the tb88 kit for the stock head yesterday, but after doing some research on here i canceled that order and ordered the race head kit that comes with the race head, oil pump and cdi box with it for $95 more... kind of a no brainer. shipping out tomorrow, pretty excited. i'll post pics when i get done. I've been looking for clutch springs and a few other little things but was wondering if there was a "best" spring kit for this kit for stunting? and anything else you would suggest i pick up? bike already has a pipe on it, not sure what kind because it was powdercoated, but its not stock.

You'll love it you don't need the clutch spring IMO stock ones work great! Spend the extra money on a pipe!

A race head with a stock pipe is kind of a waste. Buy a pipe & let it breathe

Re: stuff on the way...

Is the r1 still twin exhaust? The crf almost looks like someone took the stock exhaust, then made their own end cap and heat shield. How does it sound? not too deep, but alright sounding?

A race head should breathe just fine with that pipe

My bike rips with the stage III and stock pipe, I rock the stock pipe on all my stunt bikes, even the 108cc. Loud pipes = cops bustin up the spot, burnt legs, and melted plastics.

EXACTLY moorport. We all run stock pipes too, RJ has a RB Kamikaze 88, and I have your (well technically TB's) light bore 88 and we all run the stock pipe with baffles intact. All our cops are cool but one, and they'll usually pull in and watch, and we've had people bring their kids out and rode in parades.

Re: stuff on the way...

So my local shop wants like $300 to put the bore and clutch kits in so I guess I'm gonna try to find someone local that will help me out with it and ill just pay them to help me so I can at least get some experience with more than minor maintenance.
