| TB88 (racehead) exhaust question...
just got my 88kit with racehead put on and the pipe i bought on the bike attracts way too much attention, any suggestions on quieting it down? and if i would have to rejet the carb? or should i just pick up a stock pipe? heres pics of my pipe. ![]() |

My 88 RH runs pretty good with the stock pipe. Not too much louder than stock. It's probably your best bet.

I remember those pipes. They sound good but yep they are loud. You may want to do what StSrt4 said and go back to the stock pipe. You won't get as much power but it will quiet it down allot.

stock pipe with powertip on racehead 88 is the way to go. the power gained from a big pipe is'nt worth the money or the noise, besides the fact that they tend to make the throttle even twitchier on an already twitchy racehead motor, which does'nt help your stunting, it hinders it in my opinion.
