Zongshen 125

I've recently started having some transmission trouble on a 3 year old Zongshen motor. It's a 125 crank mounted clutch, 4sp manual (1dn/3up). I believe 3rd gear may be a pressed on gear and is slowly spinning causing a harsh banging when under load, but I won't know until I get it apart. Anyone have Zonger parts laying around since these aren't the popular build motor anymore. I would like to try to pull together enough to save my trans and possibly upgrade to a G2 cam and a hi comp piston...if anyone still has the ancient stuff around. Cost effective repair and minor upgrade is what I'm hoping for...a new motor isn't quite what I want to do.

It's not pressed-on, but is often the gear that fails. It shouldn't be any different than other China mills, and replacement gears are around $15-25 each. Since it's not really rideable, tear it down and send me pics of the hammered gear.

Will do Terry, I'm hoping to get into it this weekend. You wouldn't happen to have or know which gaskets I'll need for rebuild would you?
Thanks in advance.
