| Wanted: 1980s Honda z50 gas tank
Wanted to buy: I have a 1984 Honda z50 and need a gas tank for it. I will pay cash and pay to have it shipped here to (Greensboro, NC 27407). I would like if it is relatively rust / dent free as I plan to restore this bike... Please let me know if anyone can help. TB parts has brand new repro gas tanks for 79-87 Honda Z50 bikes. I think they come already painted for $89.00. They come in red, black, or white. Thats better than buying a used tank, fixing dents, cleaning rust, and painting it in my opinion.

I have a Z59R tank in pretty good shape that I had saved from a build as I put on a plastic tank ( clark ) instead has petcock and fuel cap -- I kept it as it is a good tank and will require very little work -- I am at the lake this weekend but I can send pictures on Wednesday the 9th of Sept -- let me know -- $55.00 + shipping to your zip ( skipinout@yahoo.com ) Skip

I like that tank on TB, but I am trying/thinking of restoring the bike to original stock and I don't know about that tank? It has a different locking cap and clearly must be a little different? I do like that site, thanks... SKIPINOUT If you could please send me some pics, I would be very interested in buying that tank off of you (my zip 27407).
