I have a very clean 1998 Z50R tank that would be considered mint if it didn't have a quarter sized scratch in the decal. Not the tank, the decal. The tank shows close to new if it weren't for the spot on the decal.

The tank came of this mint bike:
1998Z50R01

$75 plus shipping email me for pictures. $15 more if you want the cherry petcock and fuel cap.

Paint away. I custom painted a near NOS ZB50 tank. This tank has zero rust on the inside. If you plan on keeping a bike, get a tank that's rust free on the inside and you don't have to deal with the rust later. And you won't have to mess with Body work other then sanding off the decals.

i have a mint 88 z50 that i only paid 500 for it. i could just take the tank from that if i wanted to cut up something nice. i have a body shop so bodywork is no problem.
