99 z50r modified suspension

1999 Honda z50r with modified suspension. 3 speed auto clutch. 1 tooth smaller front sprocket and 70cc intake give it more low end then stock and a faster top speed, because it now makes enough intake flow to really rev out 3rd gear. The bike is in great shape and is well maintained. $700 like it is or $450 put back to stock. The bike has: crf70 front forks, crf70 triple clamps, modified xr80 swingarm, xr80 rear shocks, ATC70 intake, Crf70 carb, Crf70 throttle cable, chain roller, pro taper bars, uni filter, folding shifter and skid plate. These parts are way more then the 250 difference in price, not to mention the machining and welding time. This is how honda should have built the z50. 4 inches of hydraulically dampened suspension and a bit more in the rear vs. 2 inches of spring only. This bike has twice the suspension as the newer xr/crf50. This is a great bike for kids starting out, easy to ride and doesn't beat them when they start to go faster.

If the bike sells in the stock form. I will sell the suspension and all other parts necessary parts as a package so it can be bolted onto another Z.

Re: 99 z50r modified suspension

I'd reluctantly take $600 if and only if the bike is picked up. I'd take a real beating paying shipping out of 600 as well.

Sorry can't do it.

lowered price to $550.

Price lowered to 550. or trade for a ct70 that runs and is reliable.

New rear wheel bearings added last week.
The Bad: We have been riding it and it now needs brakes.
