cost of shipping

hey guys and gals i live in the uk and im looking into buying a klx or drz 110 but heres the problem there all in the us so i will have to look into shipping from the us over to the uk i know its going to be quite expensive so does anyone know how to do it i would be happy to use the cheapest and slowest mode of transport so basically does anybody know how to go about shipping a bike over here and have any of you ever done it before

I had a quote to ship a bike to a terminal in France for around $500-$600. I think it was 14 days in transit.

im in the same boat, a guy form the UK is interested in my bike but idk how to get it there? do i do the shipping stuff or is that his part of the deal?

Chris it really has to be a combined effort. Both of you will need to have input on the shipping as it will most likely start as freight being picked up from a business address then being delivered to a port close to the buyer.

Door to door is crazy expensive!

it is expensive im now buying a engine and the main components from the guy in america because the price of shipping with ups goes on dimensions of the box not the weight and then im just going to buy the frame and other stuff over here let me know how you get on
