What’s up all? I have two 2007 CRF250R’s up for sale. These were my race and practice bikes for the end of the ’08, and the ‘09 seasons. That means these bikes were rigorously maintained throughout the time they were in my possession. The race bike was purchased used from Chaplin Kawasaki in Chaplin CT. I was told that the previous work to the bike was done my MDK Racing. (The bike will come with the original plastics with the MDK graphics instead of the custom ones on it now) After it was in my possession, all work was done by Adam at Out of Control Racing in Worcester MA. At the end of the ’08 season the motor was having problems and was rebuilt including top end, valves, etc. The bike hasn’t had any problems since then, and the valves were checked on both bikes every 2-3 races and practices. The air filter was changed every moto/practice on both bikes. The race bike has a bunch of extras including White Bros. wheels with Excel rims and hubs, Sunline Unbreakable levers, chain and sprockets, Factory Connection Suspension, Boyensen parts, CV4 blue Hoses, Devol Holeshot device, Tri Star Racing triple clamps, and Renthal Fat Bars just to name a few. With all the aftermarket stuff on this I’m looking to get $3,900 OBO.
The practice bike has never had any problems, and some extras as well including Boyensen Quickshot carb mods, Black powder coated rims and Red powder coated hubs, Renthal chain, sprockets and bars… just to name a few. As stated before, the valves were checked constantly, and the oils and filters were changed constantly with Pro Honda oils only. BOTH BIKES JUST HAD VALVES CHECKED AND WERE FINE. The bikes haven’t even been started since they were checked. Oils were changed as soon as bikes got back from getting checked. I’m looking to get $3,300 OBO for the practice bike. The race bike has the black backgrounds in the photos which were taken for the graphics company, but was sporting the yellows during the season when it was raced in the B class.
